Is there a way to insert a step into a Demantra workflow process?

We are on Demantra version 12.2 and I want to insert a step into a Demantra workflow.

If there is an existing workflow with 10 steps in it, is there a way to remove the link between steps 1 and 2, for example, in order to insert an extra step?

I thought in older version I removed the arrow between steps 1 and 2.  Added the new step, such as an email step, then put the arrows back connecting step 1 to the new step 2 and then to what will be the new step 3.

I can't delete the arrow between steps now however.....
