UDOs with 2 developers

Can you do this?  Is there documentation?

I developed a query for an application, then a watchlist, then a composite page using them. 

I added those to an OMW project, checked out and back in.

Then a co-worker wanted to add another query and watchlist to the same composite page.

I added him to my OMW project as a developer.

I game him security to the query, watchlist and composite page.

But we are getting very strange inconsistent results.

Is there any documentation for UDO's and how to work with them using 2 developers?  Or should we be able to do this at all?
