Oracle Advanced Security Option and RMAN/Datapump Password-only Encryption

Hi,

I have a question.

We do not use TDE for tablespace/columns.

We do encrypt our RMAN backup (to disk) and Data Pump export using the password-only method.

Question is:

When only using password-based encryption for RMAN backup and Data Pump export files, does it require Oracle Advanced Security Option (license wise)?
