Strange behaviour of LogSegmentSize

Hi,

I try to change the parameter LogSegmentSize of a server component (eCommunications Object Manager Open UI (DEU)) and watch the size of log files. For the value 5000 of the parameter I get log files of 2 MB. For the value 15000 I get log files of 7 MB. This parameter is neither for the server nor for the enterprize constrained. Does anybody have an idea why 2 MB instead of 5 MB and 7 MB instead of 15 MB?

I use Siebel IP 15.18
