post edit code L for asset accounts

Can we use the post edit code for the asset acounts ?

If we set the account to L , when we created a new asset and manually add the beggining balance, we need to add a subledger in order to add the amount

But we run the depreciation R12855 we are having an error code 064A

Can we use a posting edit code L for asset account ?
