Enabling Long User ID Feature

Hi Team,

We are using JDE 9.1 with TR 9.2.3.4 and want to enable Long User ID feature in JDE 9.1.

After referring standard Oracle doc E1: SEC: Frequently Asked Questions for Long User ID And Password Feature In Tools Release 9.2 (Doc ID 2071354.1)

It means after enabling Long user id , if any new user id creation request comes than we have  to create Sort user id as well as long user id and associate both with each other and after that we can use sort old as well as long id for login purpose in JDE.

My question is here that

1. if we enable long user id than why its mentioned that we also required to created Sort user id instead of we can only create long user id and login to JDE.
