Loading Fixed Assets through ADI with MRC related book

We are looking to load Assets into Fixed Assets using ADI but we are seeing the wrong rate being used for the MRC entry. We believe the MRC entry is using the rate associated with date-in-service rate and not the rate we want to enter for the asset. What configurations or process we need to follow to have this work aside from building a "custom" solution? if a custom solution is a must, what would you recommend?

We are using Oracle E-Business Suite release 12.1.3.
