Forecasting an absence event uses a different schedule than event submission
For starters, we're using Payroll for North America, Time & Labor, and Absence Management, all 9.2.
By default when forecasting, the process looks first at employees with their schedule in schedule assign if "Select predefined schedule" is selected. If "Use workgroup default" is selected, it looks first at the GP Paygroup schedule. Herein lies the problem. We currently have a group of substitute teachers assigned to a 0hr/5day schedule in both Time & Labor and at the GP Paygroup level since we don't know in advance what hours they'll be working. We use Time Administration to generate REG in advance, and the 0 hour schedule prevents time from being generated (and accidentally paid) for this group.
