Turning on trace for FAPLCOD4

Does FAPLCOD4 produce a trace file for Cobol SQL?  We have turned on the trace but it's not producing the view log/trace file.  Any ideas?

We have an alt loan that is getting a unique constraint error but have not been able to determine the problem record.  It appears to be coming from corrections.
