Creating List of Values for BI Publisher Parameter

Trying to build a report with a parameter in BIP that uses a  LOV.  I can build a parameter that will take a single value and generate results when applied.  I can also build a List of Values that is searchable and can select one or more values for the parameter.  However, when I hit apply, the report generates a "Error occurred on retrieving data.xml" error.  Created an SR for this problem but have not received a viable response.  Screen shots of this error are attached.
