Siebel IP 2016 to Siebel IP 19.7 upgrade steps for windows OS

Hello All,

We are in process of Upgrading Siebel IP 2016 to Siebel IP 19.7 Version(Dev environment) on Windows platform.

Could you please help with the step by step upgrade process/Check list/Prerequisites of upgrade plan for windows environment.

My understanding is to do Migration installation first to Base 17 version and create AI profile through SMC and than perform the Siebel Database upgrade/IRM and than Patch to 19.7.

I am confused with which ancestor repository one should take is it 19.7 or 17.

Please help for the same.
