We moved our HFM environment to AWS cloud and since then we have been seeing performance loss despite cloud environment is on better hardware.

While running consolidation in HFM environment, HFM processes HSXserver and HSV DataSource tend to be leaking. As a result consolidation is 33 percent slower.

We observed it when we enabled Performance Monitoring logs on the windows HFM servers with instructions from Oracle document How to Setup Microsoft Performance Monitor Logging for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Application Server Processes (Doc ID 953372.1)

mentioned in HFM performace tuning guide.

https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/financial-management/overview/hfmperformancetuning-1934817.pdf

These are the range of values we observed in reference to performance tuning guide, which made us think that it very likely memory and process leaks

Howdy, Stranger!
