Can an Operating Lease be changed to a Finance Lease

We are using the Lease Administration module and added a lease which at the time was classified as an operating lease.  There has been changes and now the lease classification should be a finance lease.  Can the existing operating lease be changed to a finance lease?  If so can you please provide the steps it requires to make the change.
