Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. DBWR_IO_SLAVES=0 and three processes in OS

Hello!

In Oracle batabase 12.2.0.1 on Linux I see parameter DBWR_IO_SLAVES=0 , and at the same time three processes in OS ("ps -ef|grep -i dbw") :

ora_dwb0_orcl,

ora_dwb1_orcl and

ora_dwb2_orcl

Can You please explain, does db disregard an parameter ?
