how to exclude and include employees from performance management plan in ebs

Hi,

I have a small query i.e. how to exclude and include employees from published performance management plan in ebs.

The requirement is currently with my client there are couple of employees who are on long leave and cannot complete their objectives on time. Client has to start the appraisal process for all the employees. Hence cannot keep on extending the date of objective setting end date.

In this regard, Client wants to exclude these employees and include them once they are back in the Performance management plan which is already published in ebs. Is this option possible. if so how?
