Java functionality compatibility

Hi,

We have RPAS version 13.3 with Java version 1.6. We are planning to upgrade to RPAS version 16 which is compatible with Java 1.8. I just want to know that if there will be compatibility issues for Java code that run in version 13.3 if we upgrade to version 16?
