Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. 1) If I keep my database idle and do nothing then also the SCN will be increased or not ...Please explain ??

2) why datafile and database current SCN are mismatched ?

3) how to view latest scn number which has been copied from datafile to control file while checkpoint occurred ?

4) except read, write , update, insert, delete, modify in the datafile can SCN be increased ?
