Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. There's an MOS document that details a given setup, and one of the tasks is the following:

Set the environment variable AFOPPJVM to Y

There is NO other information about this step, the exact words are the only instructions to the requested task.

Note that this step is a finishing step AFTER a given patch. These steps also include changing a - new - file called oppjava.sh

That is OK and clear: a new file is indeed introduced, and it can be manipulated in the way as instructed.

But this "variable", I'm kind of confused, are we now requested to put standard Oracle parameters in the custom section ?
