How to use "catalog start with" from tape

I have backups on tape that I want to restore, but they are not referenced in my controlfiles and I don't have their creation logs anymore.

I use Oracle 11g and Veritas NetBackup. So, my question is: is there a way to issue a "catalog start with" in order to update my backup catalog?
