18c installer hung at 11%

Oracle 18c, installing on Oracle Linux 6, running in VBox.

Created new ORACLE_HOME - /u01/app/oracle/product/18.0.0/dbhome_1

Unzipped distribution V978967-01.zip into new home

cd to new home and execute runInstaller

Installer seems hung at 11% - linking libraries

The log file is pretty dense and nothing jumps out at me.

I know this isn't much to go on. 

Somehow it seems that I remember recently seeing another thread on the same issue, but I can't seem to find it.  Or maybe it's a false memory.
