Password management for batch job user profile

We use a dedicated user profile that would take care of all the scheduled JobSet configurations in the Production environment.

The password to this user profile is known to a small team of HR system support staff.

As such, we are sharing password to a user profile that can do a lot of stuff in Production, and it's something we want to stop doing in the future.

Can you share how you manage password for a batch process user account, and if you know a way to implement better password security so we don't have to share passwords in this scenario.
