Getting error "Database #12045 - Invalid result tuple type. Expected: '( PROFILE_DATA : Binary , LAS

Hi,

We have 12.1.0.2 RAC database using an third party application for our 24/7 online application.

Sometimes we receive this error

"Database #12045 - Invalid result tuple type. Expected: '( PROFILE_DATA : Binary , LAST_UPDATE_DATE : Date )',Received: '()'.."

But there is no error reported in our database logs/trace files.

The vendor thinks its a database issue not application issue. Could not find much documents online or on metalink.

Our server is Red Hat Linux 7 64 bit running oracle 12.1.0.2 version

Has anybody encountered the similar issue.
