Extract File save location in FDM Pull adapter

I am using FDM 11.1.2.3 and have the Pull adapter to extract a CSV file for loading to another application.  This works great however it automatically creates the file in the FDM OUTBOX.  I would like to have the option to save the file on the local computer.  Does anyone know how to add this functionality?  I would greatly appreciate any input.
