Cash Advance Grace Period - Will it prevent the user from using the cash advance if over the grace p

I'm testing out the grace period functionality of Cash Advances (Set Up Financials / Supply Chain > Business Unit Related > Expenses > Expenses Definition > 2nd tab) and am trying to determine how it works. What happens if the user attempts to user a cash advance that is outside of its grace period (e.g they use a Cash Advance that is 31 days old when the grace period is 30 days).

Will it prevent the user from selecting that cash advance? Will it grey out that selection?
