Full LOT Control. LOT on HOLD. Can Item on hand be adjusted without allocation to a sales order

R12.1.3

Users have questions about adjusting amounts for LOT controlled Items when the LOT is in status HOLD.

I can't find alot of documentation in this area (but that might just be me ,...)

Can some one guide me as to what is the functionality / Actions available for Items in a LOT that is on HOLD?

Can you adjust the stock quantity (For a specific subinventory / locator) without using a sales order to Pick / Issue ?

Hopefully this is not a crazy question !
