Multiple pay groups and FLSA calendars
We have multiple pay groups in our company but the pay groups are to be treated separately when it comes to FLSA. Example: A non-exempt employee works 30 hours in pay group 370 and 20 hours in pay group 435. They should not receive any overtime since they did not work over 40 hours in any single pay group. If the employee works 50 hours in pay group 370 and 10 hours in pay group 435, the FLSA rate would be calculate by only using the rate from pay group 370.
