Is there a way to prevent setting an account to non-posting with outstanding Purchase Order Commitme

Our purchasing department is asking if JD Edwards EnterpriseOne can be set up to prevent a General Ledger Account from being 'closed' (set to non-posting) when there are still outstanding Purchase Order Commitments.  The problem arises when trying to post Purchase Order transactions that are then rejected due to the account being marked as non-posting.

We are running JDE EnterpriseOne Applications 9.2 on Tools 9.2.3.1.
