How to remove the reference of original service contract of renewed contract? User wants to increase

How to remove the reference of original service contract of renewed contract? User wants to increase the price on the renewed contract as the price list is updated after renewal. Hence wants to create a new renewal contract for customer approval. As the contract is already renewed, it is not allowing to create a new contract again.

Please suggest.
