payroll message ID 00068

I believe it is just a warning message 00068, but Payroll got this message on 7 employees that termed.  We had about 70 terms but only got message on 7.  "The earnings record was changed due to changes in the employees job record and the earnings record has other earnings associated with it that may no longer be valid"  JUst trying to understand why some got message and others didn't.  Has anybody seen this before?
