Account Hierarchy Viewer to view parents

Hello,

I know how to look up the parent of a child value as an Admin however would like our users to be able to self serve via the Account Hierarchy Viewer option. The trouble is, some users desire to search on a child value and then view the parent(s) it is attached to. I have tried selecting "Rollup Groups" from view as well as "Hierarchy" and "query" however I do not receive the expected result. Any idea how to view this?
