OSC 4.x Install issue
I used the scinstall utility in a Solaris 11.4 LDOM to build a cluster. It seemed to work okay, however upon reboot it appears the control node got into a bit of a fankle and so only the secondary node has joined the cluster.
I'm not sure, but I think it's the cacao installation bit that's gone wrong. The server already had packages installed via Ops Center, so this is just trying to set up default. I found the missing "private" and "security" directories under Lost + Found under /var/pkg so something went wrong, but I'm not sure what, exactly. My management has yet to put software support for OSC into place so I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance here as there's little I can seem to find in the knowledgebase about reinstalling cacao (if that's warranted) for OSC 4.x; only 3.x
