Is Oracle Database on Azure running Red Hat or any non Oracle Linux supported?

Hi - I've looked at the support doc.'s, FAQ's, etc. - Oracle on MS Azure, doc. id's 1563794.1, 417770.1, and it's not entirely clear to me if Oracle supports Oracle DB running on RHEL or other non Oracle Linux on MS Azure. However, doc. 1563794.1 refers to doc. 1304727.2 - Cert. Info for Oracle DB on Linux x86-64, implying that whatever's supported in 1304727.2 is also supported on MS Azure? Thanks for your help!
