Oracle Key vault setup with TDE

Hello

I am researching on implementing key vault (18.2) along with TDE on our !2.1.0.2 multi tenant  3 Node RAC database.

There are few questions that i still don't have answers

1. Use a VM or a physical server for key vault , Oracle documentation says to use physical server , has any one used a VM ? and can share the experience?

2.i have 3 data centers , each for non-prod,prod and DR , what architecture should i follow?

3. How do we clone PROD to NON PROD once it is encrypted , does the decrypt/encrypt work seamless? or we have  manually  decrypt/encrypt every time.

4. Does my standby needs to be encrypted first?
