Effective 1/1/2020, we changed health insurance vendors. Now we're trying to refund a deduction from the prior year's plan and can't select it on the off cycle payline. The benefit program assigned to the employee was not changed. The plan itself was modified.
*We have tried changing earnings begin and end date on an off cycle, didn't work.
*We did try an off cycle calendar with a December 2019 pay period begin and end with a check in 2020, which did work but is not sustainable. We expect this will not be the last time we will be asked to refund deductions from the prior vendor and don't want to be running December payrolls all year.
