Datapump exports are slow

Hello,

I have a 2 node rac environment running Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition Release 12.1.0.2.0 - 64bit Production.  I am seeing drastically different elapsed times on a canned expdp job when run on each server.  On one server it ran for 1 day, 7 hours and 28 minutes.  On the other server, the next day, it ran for 4 hours 35 minutes. 

Both servers are IBM AIX 64 bit machines with

     MEMORY                   Real,MB  122880

     PAGING SPACE        Size,MB     30720

Both server have 10 2-node RAC instances.

How can I determine what is causing the drastic differences in the run times of the exports?
