Odd issue here, which may be SAN-related rather than Solaris, but I want to cover the bases.

I have a newly built Oracle T8-2 environment consisting of a pair of T8s running Solaris 11.4 at two different sites: one production and one DR, each attached via brocade to different Dell SC5020 storage arrays.

When provisioning storage I've noted that at the DR site the LUNs appear automatically, after being created/mapped, with one glitch where I needed to remap the LUN before it appeared. On the other T8 pair I cannot see any mapped LUNs until I've rebooted the servers. To my knowledge these are the same build: they were all delivered at the same time and have the same SRU. Naturally I've tried devfsadm, with no options and with the -C -c disk option, to no avail, which I'd expect to work at a push. Once rebooted all LUNs appear normally. Needless to

Howdy, Stranger!
