Profile Management - Same content items for a sub-content type

Good day,

I am trying to create a content type for a Person profile using Profile Management.  The content type that will be the parent for another content type.  I am using the parent child relationship for these two content types and I am adding the child content type as a sub-section.  My dilemma is that I need more than one of the same content one item on the child content type.  I need an instance qualifier for my child content type, but it doesn't look like it allows me to select it.  It is disabled.

Does anybody know a way I can create multiple same content items for a child content type in Profile management?
