Plan Type that needs to maintain both dependents and beneficiaires
We have a requirement for a new benefit plan that requires both maintaining and enrolling dependents but must also track beneficiaries. As expected, the beneficiaries may be different than the dependents and need to track percent allocations, etc.
Has anyone else had a similar requirement and were you able to use delivered functionality vs. a customization?
Plan Type 1x series - maintains dependents
Plan Type 2x series - maintains beneficiaries
Although we prefer not to do a customization, one option is to create a sub-record & page on the Base Benefit 1x page that would provide capability to track beneficiaries.
