prtdiag -v dumps core

Old Solaris 10 update 4 installation;

prtdiag -v fails to give any CPU information (this bug is documented) and dumps core when doing hte IO ASIC section;

Segmentation Fault(coredump)

I found a reference to bug id 6666329 about prtdiag dumping core but can't find anything further.

I also found a possible solution as performing a reconfiguration reboot?
