HCM 9.2 Classic 2020 W4 issues after 19-E
We have noticed after applying Tax Update 19-E - using the classic W4 component in Employee Self Service - when an employee selects the checkbox to claim tax withholding exemption, their Federal Tax Data record gets a new effective dated record however the field SPECIAL_FWT_STATUS gets set to G (Maintain Taxable Gross) not E (Exempt) like we expect.
Also we notice the W4 page defaults to "claim exemption" - the checkbox is selected when the page opens.
Are these W4 transactions "working as designed" or do we need patching?
