The alert log shows this when starting:
WARNING: Automatic Memory Management is enabled with a configuration on /dev/async which is incompatible with that required for AMM (where async i/o is being utilized)
Please refer to Appendix C of the Oracle Database Administrators Guide for further details.
I've been through the Doco (which has moved from Appendix C of the Oracle Database Administrators Guide in 11.1 to Appendix D in Database Administrator's Reference for Linux And UNIX-Based operating Systems in 19c.
The config has been done, the init parameters have been set, the checks have been performed.
I'm hopeful that I can improve database performance somehow. But not sure exactly what the warning means or what the next step in diagnosing would be..
