SL8500Tape Library - Commvault integration broken

Compliments for 2020!

A customer have a SL8500/ACSLS 8.4 connects to Commvault/Libattach 1.4.3. Everything worked. Only issue is when a faulty drive gets replaced, the commvault server/s must be rebooted after configuring the new drive, etc.

This time around after replacing a faulty drive, the Commvault master agent keeps of going offline after about 10-15 minutes in the Commvault GUI. The customer said no other changes took places

The commvault engineer looked at the CV logs and said that they could see the following error:

[acs_error.c:442] acs_ipc_write: FATAL_ERROR! cl_ipc_write() failed.
