Hello,

We recently moved our 12.1.0.2 EBS database from solaris 10 to Solaris 11.4 machine.      We are constantly seeing the following message in alert.log

ORA-04036: PGA memory used by the instance exceeds PGA_AGGREGATE_LIMIT

Our current SGA setting in 36 G  ,    PGA_AGGREGATE_LIMIT is 12G  and PGA_GGREGATE_TARGET is 4G.

We are trying to figure out what could be the issue and how to resolve it.      Can someone help me out.

Will setting PGA_AGGREGATE_LIMIT=0  help .   Since this is production , I do not want to change it on the fly without confirmation

Thanks

Ram
