Patch 18.3.0.0.0 - db component

I am now going to be patching our X6-2 to 18.3.0.0.0.

I realize that after patching the server component that I will need to run odacli update-dbhome as per this note Patching database to 18.3

I will just be patching the current db_home. I do not wish to install the 18c clone files at this time.

The 18.3.0.0.0 patch bundle contains the db psu for 12.2, will odacli update-dbhome use the old oakcli repository or do I need to add it to the odacli repo?

I guess I'm asking for the exact steps to patch the db components.
