Our EBS version is EBS 12.1.3

We know that QR codes are supported by BI Publisher starting with version 12.2.1.4

As per oracle note 1636038.1, below is the comment.

"The latest Oracle Applications / Oracle E-Business Suite  (EBS) Developer's Guide Release 12.1 (Part No. E12897-04) does not have any reference to the key words: QR Quick Response code(s)"

Is there any chance to print QR codes with BI Publisher 12.2.1.4 with EBS 12.1.3 version?

if not, let us know upgrade of the entire EBS Suite is necessary to be able to print QR codes?
