Promoting objects between 2 tools releases

Hello,

We have 2 tools releases at this time for E1 9.2:  DV/PY is on 9.2.4.1 and Prod is on 9.2.2.5.  We are actively testing the new tools release in our non prod environments.

If we were to promote an object to PD that had tested correctly in PY but fails to work in PD,  How would we recover?  We do not have a SAV location setup.
