Patching JDE Weblogic servers
We have been receiving “Critical security patch advisory “ emails from Oracle. I found the documentation very convoluted and not easy to navigate. After logging a ticket with oracle, the response I got was to take on a new Tools Release – This I find absurd. As a global organisation, we cannot afford the downtime in testing a Tools Release every 4 months. Our current strategy is to take on a Tools Release once a year
We currently on Tools Release 9.2.3.1 with the following configuration
- Enterprise server = iSeries ( power9) – DB2
- Web Client = Windows 2016 – Weblogic 12 C ( 12.2.1.3.0 )
- Orchestrator server = Windows 2016 – Weblogic 12 C ( 12.2.1.3.0 )
- AIS server = Windows 2016 – Weblogic 12 C ( 12.2.1.3.0 )
