Order of Retro Pay Processing

Hi

I was reviewing the MOS note: Oracle Payroll 'RetroPay' Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) (Doc ID 1336267.1)

It has a section which responds to the question "Is there a way to setup 'Enhanced Retro Pay' to process an Assignment Set?" (see the response copied below). Why in the response do they say in step 1 "DO NOT run the Retro Notifications Report PDF Enhanced"? What would be the impact if the Notifications report had been run for a pay period and then there was an issue identified that required a specific assignment to be retro'ed - but the change would not be picked up by  a subsequent running of the notification report e.g. formula issue? If we manually added the impacted employee assignment into the Retro Pay Status page and then ran Retropay Enhanced what problems are they concerned
