best practice for LUN configuration on RedHat 7

hi,

we are starting to set up a new enviroment using oracle 19c single instance , including standby database on RedHat 7.8

does anybody know of a best practice document to get best performance from SAN storage?

Is there a difference in creating one huge LUN (3,5TB) or to creating smaller ones, e.g. 7x 500GB?
