ebs upgrade : rapidwiz not picking up context file from apps tier

Hi All! We are upgrading our EBS 12.1.3 to 12.2.0 ( and then to 12.2.8). We are right now at the following step:

Configuring the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Application Tier (Oracle® E-Business Suite Upgrade Guide Release 12.0 and 12.1 to 12.2)

rapidwiz is being invoked from the database server (ebs1) and the apps tier is on a different server (ebs2). The problem is, the OUI is not picking up the apps tier context file. Are we missing anything here ?
